Students, we need your book reviews!  What was your favorite book you read this summer?  Post a review below so that other students can give the book a try.  Here is a sample so that you will know what to do!

This summer, I read When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead.  This book won the 2010 Newbery Medal, and I had the chance to meet the author at a conference this summer.  It is a mystery that takes place in the late 1970s.  Miranda’s life in New York City life is suddenly turned upside down.  First, her best friend Sal stops speaking to her after he is beaten up after school one day.  Then, she starts getting strange notes from a mystery person.  Complicating matters, Miranda daily encounters an eccentric, old man who talks constant gibberish.  She also is preparing her mother for a game show and rereading A Wrinkle in Time.  Miranda wonders how all of these events fit together and sets about to solve the mystery.

You will want to reread this book because of the mind-bending conclusion!  Check it out from the Media Center!
